This Refund Policy explains how refunds and billing issues are handled for ExcelToWords, operated by Kognit doo (“we,” “us”). Payments for paid plans are processed by our payment partner Paddle. This policy works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Who charges you
Depending on your region, Paddle may act as the merchant of record. Your receipt, VAT/tax line items, and payment support options are provided in line with their checkout and customer experience. If you have a question about what appears on your statement, contact us using the details below and we will help coordinate with the payment flow.
2. Subscription billing
Paid access is generally billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select on our Pricing page. Your subscription renews until you cancel in accordance with the cancellation options presented in the product or in your payment provider’s flow, where applicable.
3. Refund requests
If you believe you were charged in error, did not receive the service you paid for, or are entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us at office@exceltowords.com with your account email, a short description of the issue, and any receipt or transaction reference you have. We aim to respond within a reasonable time. Refund eligibility and timing may depend on the payment method, your region’s mandatory consumer rules, and Paddle’s policies.
4. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may be required to suspend access until the matter is resolved. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue without unnecessary disruption to your account.
5. No long-term storage of payment card data
We do not store your full payment card number on our servers. Card data is collected and processed by Paddle according to their security practices.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email or through the service where appropriate.
